Cartesian

Like Wavelength, but with a two spectra instead of one

What is Cartesian?

Cartesian is a Wavelength-inspired guessing game where players take turns giving clues and guessing secret positions on a coordinate grid.

Unlike Wavelength, each round contains two spectra instead of one, so players must provide clues and make guesses on a Cartesian plane.

Players try to last as many rounds as possible until the cumulative distance reaches 25.

Thoughts on gameplay

I made Cartesian, so I'm biased, but I find it considerably more difficult than Wavelength since players must consider two axes instead of just one. Personally, I like that about it.

What makes it fun

The different spectra interact in surprising ways, which is a really fun part of the game experience. E.g. you might have to think of something that a is a little bit hot, but very evil. Or something that's definitely a snack, but also very expensive.
