What is Mic Drop?

Mic Drop is a multiplayer karaoke trivia game where players compete to buzz in and sing songs with a given lyric.

It is a web adaptation of the board game Grab the Mic.

Players must buzz in quickly and sing valid songs in order to win.

Mic Drop rewards both lyrical knowledge (you need to think of songs containing a given lyric) and the confidence to buzz in quickly.

Points are awarded when the group agrees the performance matches the prompt and is a real song.

It is, at its core, a silly party game. Players often sing incorrect lyrics, draw a blank, or are challenged by others ("is that... a real song?") makes for a fun, lighthearted experience.
