What is Octordle?

Octordle is a daily word puzzle where you to solve eight Wordle-style puzzles simultaneously.

Each guess is applied to all eight grids simultaneously. You have thirteen total guesses to solve all eight puzzles.

Thoughts on gameplay

Octordle is much more difficult than Wordle.

If you want to win, you must be strategic and thoughtful about every guess. The game feels higher stakes than Wordle and virtually all of the Wordle variants except for Guessticle.

What makes it fun

Octordle is much more difficult than Wordle. Experienced Wordle players and word game players will probably appreciate that.

Each guess is much more consequential. The game rewards planning and strategy, and sometimes requires players to dig deep for a great guess.

It's at the far end of the difficulty spectrum of Wordle-like games, and is definitely worth trying if you enjoy Wordle but find it way too easy.
